Our Mission

We are a multigenerational, nonprofit 501(c)(3) collective that brings people together through the powerful rhythms of primarily West African drumming, dance, and song. We are dedicated to learning, teaching, performing, and sharing what we love, driven by passion, joy, and deep respect for the cultural traditions we study.

We offer weekly community classes, vibrant public performances, and inclusive workshops with master artists and culture-bearers. We serve people of all ages and experience across Northern Colorado and beyond. creating spaces for intercultural exchange, connection, and celebration.

By honoring the music’s origins, supporting its artists, and inviting others to participate, we aim to build community through rhythm— and to move people in dance, in spirit, and in celebration of the cultures that inspire us.
